We all need to strive to be more
like Ted Lasso with his endless optimism and seeing the good in
others. I’ve been doing this and in doing so have also tried to
speak my truth on a larger platform, such as giving a TedX Talk. I
made it to round 2 of interviews for a talk in Utah but the
selection committee met my topic with unexpected ignorance. Find
out what my TedX Talk interview was like firsthand and how I stood
my ground against racism, along with my attempt to educate the
ignorant. It’s time we take a lesson from those who preach their
hatred so freely...it’s time we speak up, louder than they
do.
